Notification is expected to release by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) in the month of May 2022. The job notification will be issued to determine the eligibility of the applicant for the posts of primary and upper-primary teachers. It may be noted that UPTET qualified applicant will not be recruited directly but will only be eligible to apply for teaching vacancy in government schools of the state.

Applicants who want to be recruited as primary level (Class I-V) teachers will have to appear for UPTET Paper-I. Applicants desirous of getting recruited as teachers of Upper-Primary Level (Classes VI-VIII) will have to clear the UPTET Paper-II. Applicants planning to recruit for classes I-VIII will have to appear for both the UPTET papers.

UPTET Recruitment 2022  Selection Process :-

• UPTET Exam 2022 consists of two papers.
• Applicants who want to teach classes I-V can participate in Paper I.
• Paper-II will be for those applicants who want to teach class VI-VIII.
• Applicants who want to teach classes I-VIII will have to appear for both the papers.
• Applicants who obtain minimum 60% marks in the written examination will be declared as UPTET qualified.
• Eligibility certificate will be issued to the eligible applicant to apply for teaching in the schools of Uttar Pradesh.
• The validity of UPTET eligibility certificate is five years from the date.

1. UPTET application form can be filled in online mode only and is not available offline. The steps to apply for UPTET 2022 are as follows:
2. Visit the official website - updeled.gov.in.
3. Click on UPTET Registration.
4. Click on Candidate Registration under Registration Form.
5. After reading the instructions and procedure, tick the square box and click on “Click here to enter”.
6. On the next page fill your details like name, father's name, date of birth, etc.
7. Now click on the submit application link.
8. Upload the scanned images of your photograph and signature after payment of fee.
9. Click on submit to submit the form.
